L.A. Metro Day Trip

Join BuildSD for a day trip to Los Angeles to ride the new Metro D Line and explore more vibrant transit stations and neighborhoods! We depart from Oceanside Transit Center (OTC) at 11:24am on Metrolink 1663 and will return to Oceanside at 6:35pm on Metrolink 1668.

This is a free event, and no RSVP is required. You'll need a Metrolink fare to join. We recommend the $10 SoCal Day Pass, which will allow you to take a round-trip on the OC Line, as well as ride Metro Rail and Metro Bus for free. You can purchase your SoCal Day Pass at OTC or in the Metrolink app.

We will meet at 11:00am at the OTC stationhouse, under the canopy near the NCTD Customer Service Center, and walk to the Metrolink train together. There are lots of ways to get to Oceanside, including BREEZE 101 and other BREEZE bus routes, COASTER, or Amtrak. If you're joining from downtown San Diego or points south, we recommend taking COASTER C673, which departs San Diego at 9:40am and arrives in Oceanside at 10:42am.
