Currently, the street corners at Columbia & Hawthorn and State & Grapes lie dormant in the vibrant Downtown San Diego neighborhood of Little Italy. Characterized by a small surface parking lot and demolished buildings. This project seeks to breathe new life into this area of Little Italy by introducing more housing and hotel accommodations. The area is served by MTS bus route 83. The project slated to encompass 6,200 square feet and rise 83 feet tall will have 125 residential units and 82 hotel rooms. Currently under evaluation by the City of San Diego’s Urban Division, there's no specified timeline for the start of construction.
