Freedom Park at Navy Pier is a public space on San Diego’s North Embarcadero. Most well known these days for being the entrance and parking lot for the USS Midway Museum, the plan will see an event lawn, performance stage and seating, walking paths, and parking for the museum. The park will be 10 acres in total and span from Navy Pier itself all the way around the Midway to the Bob Hope Memorial.

The project will be a critical part of the continued modernization waterfront, and will connect two major parts of the north embarcadero esplanade, be in close proximity to Lane Field, and complement the soon to be completed Progress Park.

Construction is underway and is planned to be completed by the end of 2028.
