North Park // San Diego's First Mass Timber Development
Niima Outpost is an exciting project that is now complete as of Mid 2024 in North Park. It represents San Diego’s first foray into Mass Timber construction, showcasing a commitment to sustainability. The project features hybrid light-framed mass timber with cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor assemblies, resulting in a lower carbon footprint. Additionally, the design includes exposed wood ceilings, adding a unique and eco-friendly aesthetic to the development.
Located in North Park, Niima Outpost is a five-story mixed-use development that offers 55 apartments. The ground floor will accommodate two restaurant spaces, and there will be over 2,000 square feet of common area side courtyard. The project's location is a walker’s paradise, offering easy access to trendy food and beverage spots, fashionable retail stores, local schools, and other amenities.
The development's location also enjoys proximity to the renowned Balboa Park, Downtown San Diego, and other distinctive neighborhoods.
